Hashtag Robotics builds and ships robot platforms grounded in the open robotics ecosystem, at engineering quality. Our first platform is SO-101: a 5 DOF, LeRobot-compatible desktop robot arm with a parallel gripper. It ships leader + follower together, assembled and tested; plug it in straight out of the box and start working. Pre-order registration for the first batch is now open.

Most open-source arms reach you as a kit: a bag of parts, printed components and an assembly guide that can take days to work through. We took a different path. Every SO-101 leaves us fully built, calibrated and tested, so the time you would have spent assembling goes straight into your actual robotics and AI work.
The platform pairs an operator-guided leader arm with a task-performing follower arm. You move the leader by hand and the follower mirrors it one to one, which is exactly the setup teleoperation, data collection and imitation learning workflows are built around.
